The Healthy Ageing Collaborative (HAC) is a new WHO network tool aimed at advancing implementation of the United Nations (UN) Decade of Healthy Ageing (2021–2030). The HAC provides a new opportunity for State and non-State actors to work together, leveraging their respective strengths to address pressing issues that affect the lives of older people, their families, and communities. Moreover, it will raise awareness, strengthen international coordination on healthy ageing, and support national-level implementation while recognising the role of older persons, ensuring their meaningful engagement and the application of human rights-based approaches. Members of this collaborative network, aligned on aims and principles and willing to learn from each other, will prioritise issues that will be addressed in working groups, and their actions will contribute to the progressive realisation of the rights of all older people everywhere.
