The European Commission recently released new guidelines that aim to enhance the results of research and scientific knowledge to provide new solutions to the global challenges and opportunities created by green and digital transformation and for efficient management of intellectual property. The guiding principles for knowledge exploitation will be further supported by two codes of practice on the smart use of intellectual property and for researchers on standardization.
