From 16 to 17 June 2022, the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe (UNECE) organized, in cooperation with the Italian Government, a Ministerial Conference on Ageing to complete the 4th review and appraisal cycle (2018-2022) of the Madrid International Plan of Action on Ageing (MIPAA) and its Regional Implementation Strategy. The outcome of the conference are two complementary declarations; one adopted by the Ministers, reaffirming the commitment towards positive ageing policies and a second which was adopted jointly by civil society and researchers.
