In 2023, the United Nations (UN) will publish a comprehensive public-facing progress report on the implementation of the UN Decade of Healthy Ageing. This progress report will be developed by organizations of the UN, with inputs from the broad range of stakeholders involved in making the Decade a success. The report will aim to highlight the experiences of stakeholders during the first two years of the Decade’s implementation, sharing the knowledge and resources being developed to support healthy ageing. The report will also highlight examples of the actions being taken by all stakeholders to implement the Decade and achieve change with and for older people.
This is where you come in! In order to ensure the progress report is inclusive of the work being done across the range of stakeholders involved, we invite you to share examples of your work on healthy ageing during the first two years of the Decade via the Decade Platform. This is also an opportunity to highlight your contributions to the Decade and share your learnings with the global community. Case studies which are included in the report will demonstrate progress in the Decade’s action areas and enablers.
